Summary:

A 45 min lesson on Eid ul- Fitr for KS2 (years 3&4). A lesson where pupils learn about celebrations in other faiths and their similarities, they learn about Eid ul –Fitr and its significance for Muslims as well as its connection to Ramadan. During group sessions brainstorming around celebrations in faiths occur, followed by a group discussion on Eid. A homework option around ‘shoe box gifts’ for charity helps re-enforce the importance of giving during Eid ul- Fitr.
